Chapter 29

1 Hezekiah3169 began to reign4427 when he was five2568 and twenty6242 years8141 old,1121 and he reigned4427 nine8672 and twenty6242 years8141 in Jerusalem.3389 And his mother's517 name8034 was Abijah,29 the daughter1323 of Zechariah.2148

2 And he did6213 that which was right3477 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 according to all3605 that834 David1732 his father1 had done.6213

3 He1931 in the first7223 year8141 of his reign,4427 in the first7223 month,2320 opened6605 853 the doors1817 of the house1004 of the LORD,3068 and repaired2388 them.

4 And he brought in935 853 the priests3548 and the Levites,3881 and gathered them together622 into the east4217 street,7339

5 And said559 unto them, Hear8085 me, ye Levites,3881 sanctify now yourselves,6942 6258 and sanctify6942 853 the house1004 of the LORD3068 God430 of your fathers,1 and carry forth3318 853 the filthiness5079 out of4480 the holy6944 place.

6 For3588 our fathers1 have trespassed,4603 and done6213 that which was evil7451 in the eyes5869 of the LORD3068 our God,430 and have forsaken5800 him, and have turned away5437 their faces6440 from the habitation4480 4908 of the LORD,3068 and turned5414 their backs.6203

7 Also1571 they have shut up5462 the doors1817 of the porch,197 and put out3518 853 the lamps,5216 and have not3808 burned6999 incense7004 nor3808 offered5927 burnt offerings5930 in the holy6944 place unto the God430 of Israel.3478

8 Wherefore the wrath7110 of the LORD3068 was1961 upon5921 Judah3063 and Jerusalem,3389 and he hath delivered5414 them to trouble,2189 to astonishment,8047 and to hissing,8322 as834 ye859 see7200 with your eyes.5869

9 For, lo,2009 our fathers1 have fallen5307 by the sword,2719 and our sons1121 and our daughters1323 and our wives802 are in captivity7628 for5921 this.2063

10 Now6258 it is in5973 mine heart3824 to make3772 a covenant1285 with the LORD3068 God430 of Israel,3478 that his fierce2740 wrath639 may turn away7725 from4480 us.

11 My sons,1121 be not408 now6258 negligent:7952 for3588 the LORD3068 hath chosen977 you to stand5975 before6440 him, to serve8334 him, and that ye should minister1961 8334 unto him, and burn incense.6999

12 Then the Levites3881 arose,6965 Mahath4287 the son1121 of Amasai,6022 and Joel3100 the son1121 of Azariah,5838 of4480 the sons1121 of the Kohathites:6956 and of4480 the sons1121 of Merari,4847 Kish7027 the son1121 of Abdi,5660 and Azariah5838 the son1121 of Jehalelel:3094 and of4480 the Gershonites;1649 Joah3098 the son1121 of Zimmah,2155 and Eden5731 the son1121 of Joah: 3098

13 And of4480 the sons1121 of Elizaphan;469 Shimri,8113 and Jeiel:3273 and of4480 the sons1121 of Asaph;623 Zechariah,2148 and Mattaniah: 4983

14 And of4480 the sons1121 of Heman;1968 Jehiel,3171 and Shimei:8096 and of4480 the sons1121 of Jeduthun;3038 Shemaiah,8098 and Uzziel.5816

15 And they gathered622 853 their brethren,251 and sanctified themselves,6942 and came,935 according to the commandment4687 of the king,4428 by the words1697 of the LORD,3068 to cleanse2891 the house1004 of the LORD.3068

16 And the priests3548 went935 into the inner part6441 of the house1004 of the LORD,3068 to cleanse2891 it, and brought out3318 853 all3605 the uncleanness2932 that834 they found4672 in the temple1964 of the LORD3068 into the court2691 of the house1004 of the LORD.3068 And the Levites3881 took6901 it, to carry it out3318 abroad2351 into the brook5158 Kidron.6939

17 Now they began2490 on the first259 day of the first7223 month2320 to sanctify,6942 and on the eighth8083 day3117 of the month2320 came935 they to the porch197 of the LORD:3068 so they sanctified6942 853 the house1004 of the LORD3068 in eight8083 days;3117 and in the sixteenth8337 6240 day3117 of the first7223 month2320 they made an end.3615

18 Then they went935 in6441 to413 Hezekiah2396 the king,4428 and said,559 We have cleansed2891 853 all3605 the house1004 of the LORD,3068 and the altar4196 of burnt offering,5930 with all3605 the vessels3627 thereof, and the shewbread4635 table,7979 with853 all3605 the vessels3627 thereof.

19 Moreover all3605 the vessels,3627 which834 king4428 Ahaz271 in his reign4438 did cast away2186 in his transgression,4604 have we prepared3559 and sanctified,6942 and, behold,2009 they are before6440 the altar4196 of the LORD.3068

20 Then Hezekiah3169 the king4428 rose early,7925 and gathered622 853 the rulers8269 of the city,5892 and went up5927 to the house1004 of the LORD.3068

21 And they brought935 seven7651 bullocks,6499 and seven7651 rams,352 and seven7651 lambs,3532 and seven7651 he goats,6842 5795 for a sin offering2403 for5921 the kingdom,4467 and for5921 the sanctuary,4720 and for5921 Judah.3063 And he commanded559 the priests3548 the sons1121 of Aaron175 to offer5927 them on5921 the altar4196 of the LORD.3068

22 So they killed7819 the bullocks,1241 and the priests3548 received6901 853 the blood,1818 and sprinkled2236 it on the altar:4196 likewise, when they had killed7819 the rams,352 they sprinkled2236 the blood1818 upon the altar:4196 they killed7819 also the lambs,3532 and they sprinkled2236 the blood1818 upon the altar.4196

23 And they brought forth5066 853 the he goats8163 for the sin offering2403 before6440 the king4428 and the congregation;6951 and they laid5564 their hands3027 upon5921 them:

24 And the priests3548 killed7819 them, and they made reconciliation2398 with854 their blood1818 upon the altar,4196 to make an atonement3722 for5921 all3605 Israel:3478 for3588 the king4428 commanded559 that the burnt offering5930 and the sin offering2403 should be made for all3605 Israel.3478

25 And he set5975 853 the Levites3881 in the house1004 of the LORD3068 with cymbals,4700 with psalteries,5035 and with harps,3658 according to the commandment4687 of David,1732 and of Gad1410 the king's4428 seer,2374 and Nathan5416 the prophet:5030 for3588 so was the commandment4687 of the LORD3068 by3027 his prophets.5030

26 And the Levites3881 stood5975 with the instruments3627 of David,1732 and the priests3548 with the trumpets.2689

27 And Hezekiah2396 commanded559 to offer5927 the burnt offering5930 upon the altar.4196 And when6256 the burnt offering5930 began,2490 the song7892 of the LORD3068 began2490 also with the trumpets,2689 and with5921 the instruments3027 3627 ordained by David1732 king4428 of Israel.3478

28 And all3605 the congregation6951 worshiped,7812 and the singers7892 sang,7891 and the trumpeters2689 sounded:2690 and all3605 this continued until5704 the burnt offering5930 was finished.3615

29 And when they had made an end3615 of offering,5927 the king4428 and all3605 that were present4672 with854 him bowed3766 themselves, and worshiped.7812

30 Moreover Hezekiah3169 the king4428 and the princes8269 commanded559 the Levites3881 to sing praise1984 unto the LORD3068 with the words1697 of David,1732 and of Asaph623 the seer.2374 And they sang praises1984 with5704 gladness,8057 and they bowed their heads6915 and worshiped.7812

31 Then Hezekiah3169 answered6030 and said,559 Now6258 ye have consecrated4390 3027 yourselves unto the LORD,3068 come near5066 and bring935 sacrifices2077 and thank offerings8426 into the house1004 of the LORD.3068 And the congregation6951 brought in935 sacrifices2077 and thank offerings;8426 and as many as3605 were of a free5081 heart3820 burnt offerings.5930

32 And the number4557 of the burnt offerings,5930 which834 the congregation6951 brought,935 was1961 threescore and ten7657 bullocks,1241 a hundred3967 rams,352 and two hundred3967 lambs:3532 all3605 these428 were for a burnt offering5930 to the LORD.3068

33 And the consecrated things6944 were six8337 hundred3967 oxen1241 and three7969 thousand505 sheep.6629

34 But7535 the priests3548 were1961 too few,4592 so that they could3201 not3808 flay6584 853 all3605 the burnt offerings:5930 wherefore their brethren251 the Levites3881 did help2388 them, till5704 the work4399 was ended,3615 and until5704 the other priests3548 had sanctified themselves:6942 for3588 the Levites3881 were more upright3477 in heart3824 to sanctify themselves6942 than the priests.4480 3548

35 And also1571 the burnt offerings5930 were in abundance,7230 with the fat2459 of the peace offerings,8002 and the drink offerings5262 for every burnt offering.5930 So the service5656 of the house1004 of the LORD3068 was set in order.3559

36 And Hezekiah3169 rejoiced,8055 and all3605 the people,5971 that5921 God430 had prepared3559 the people:5971 for3588 the thing1697 was1961 done suddenly.6597

2 Он поступал пред очами Господа точно так, как поступал отец его Давид.

3 В первый год царствования своего, в первый месяц, он отворил двери дома Господа, и починил их.

4 И велел придти священникам и левитам, и собрал их на восточной площади.

5 И сказал им: послушайте меня, левиты, освятитесь ныне сами, освятите дом Господа, Бога отцев ваших, и вынесите нечистоту из святилища.

6 Ибо отцы наши поступали беззаконно и делали то, что есть зло пред очами Господа, Бога нашего; они оставили Его, и отвратили лица свои от жилища Господа, и обратились спиною.

7 И заперли двери притвора, и погасили лампады, и не совершали курения, и не возносили всесожжения во святилище Бога Израилева.

8 За то был гнев Господа на Иудею и на Иерусалим, и Он отдал их на позор, опустошение и посмеяние, как вы видите своими глазами.

9 И вот отцы наши пали от меча, и сыновья наши, и дочери наши и жены наши за это в плену.

10 Теперь у меня лежит на сердце утвердить завет с Господом, Богом Израилевым, чтоб отвратился от нас пламень гнева Его.

11 Дети мои! не грешите ныне; поелику вас избрал Господь предстоять лицу Его для служения Ему, и для того, чтоб вы Ему служили и возжигали курения.

12 И встали левиты: Михаф, сын Амасая, и Иоиль, сын Азарии, из сыновей Каафовых; и из сыновей Мерариных Кис, сын Авдия, и Азария, сын Иогаллелела; и из племени Герсонова Иоах, сын Зиммы, и Еден, сын Иоаха.

13 И из сыновей Елицафановых: Шимрий и Иоиил; и из сыновей Асафовых: Захария и Матфания.

14 И из сыновей Емановых: Иехиил и Шимей; и из сыновей Идифумовых: Шемаия и Узиил.

15 Они собрали братьев своих, и освятились: и пошли по приказанию царскому, по словам Господа, очищать дом Господа.

16 И вошли священники внутрь дома Господа для очищения, и все нечистое, что нашли в храме Господа, вынесли на двор дома Господа, а левиты это подобрали, чтоб вынести вон к потоку Кедрону.

17 Они начали освящать в первый день первого месяца, и в осьмый день месяца вошли в притвор Господа, и освящали дом Господа восемь дней, и кончили в шестнадцатый день первого месяца.

18 И пришли в дом к царю Езекии, и сказали: мы очистили весь дом Господа и жертвенник всесожжения и все сосуды его, и стол для хлебов предложения и все сосуды его.

19 И все сосуды, которые по беззаконию своему забросил царь Ахаз во время своего царствования, мы приготовили и освятили, и вот они пред жертвенником Господа.

20 И встал царь Езекия рано утром, и собрал начальников города, и пошел в дом Господа.

21 И привели семь тельцов, и семь овнов, и семь агнцев, и семь козлов из стада коз на жертву за грех, за царство, за святилище и за Иудею; и приказал он сынам Аароновым, священникам, вознести всесожжение на жертвенник Господа.

22 И закололи тельцов, и взяли священники кровь, и окропили жертвенник, и закололи овнов, и окропили кровью жертвенник, и закололи агнцев, и окропили кровью жертвенник.

23 И привели козлов за грех пред лицо царя и собрания, и они возложили на них руки свои.

24 И закололи их священники, и очистили кровью их жертвенник для заглаждения грехов всего Израиля; потому что царь приказал принести всесожжение и жертву за грех всех Израильтян.

25 И поставил он в доме Господа левитов с кимвалами, псалтирями и гуслями, по установлению Давида, и Гада, прозорливца царского, и Нафана пророка; поелику установление сие сделано Господом чрез пророков Его.

26 И стали левиты с орудиями Давидовыми, и священники с трубами.

27 И приказал Езекия возложить всесожжение на жертвенник. И в то самое время, как началось всесожжение, началось пение Господу при звуке труб и орудий Давида, царя Израильского.

28 И все собрание поклонилось, и гремело пение, и трубили трубы все до самого окончания всесожжения.

29 По окончании всесожжения, царь и все, находившиеся при нем, пали на колена и поклонились.

30 И сказал царь Езекия и князья левитам, чтоб они славили Господа словами Давида и Асафа прозорливца; и они славили с радостью, и падали и поклонялись.

31 И продолжал Езекия, и сказал: теперь вы имеете в руках своих пожертвования Господу, подходите и ведите жертвы и благодарственные приношения в дом Господа; и повели все собравшиеся жертвы и благодарственные приношения и всяк, кто расположен был сердцем, всесожжения.

32 Число всесожжений, которые привели собравшиеся, было семьдесят волов, сто овнов, двести агнцев: все сие во всесожжение Господу.

33 Других священных жертв было: шесть сот крупного скота и три тысячи из мелкого скота.

34 Поелику же священников было мало, и они не могли сдирать кож со всех всесожжений, то помогали им братья их, левиты, до окончания дела и доколе освящались прочие священники; ибо левиты были более тщательны в освящении себя, нежели священники.

35 Притом всесожжений было множество с туками благодарственных жертв и с возлияниями при всесожжении. Так установлено служение в доме Господа.

36 И радовался Езекия и весь народ, что Бог так настроил людей; потому что вдруг сделалось дело.

15 Они собрали братьев своих, и освятились: и пошли по приказанию царскому, по словам Господа, очищать дом Господа.

16 И вошли священники внутрь дома Господа для очищения, и все нечистое, что нашли в храме Господа, вынесли на двор дома Господа, а левиты это подобрали, чтоб вынести вон к потоку Кедрону.

17 Now they began2490 on the first259 day of the first7223 month2320 to sanctify,6942 and on the eighth8083 day3117 of the month2320 came935 they to the porch197 of the LORD:3068 so they sanctified6942 853 the house1004 of the LORD3068 in eight8083 days;3117 and in the sixteenth8337 6240 day3117 of the first7223 month2320 they made an end.3615

17 Они начали освящать в первый день первого месяца, и в осьмый день месяца вошли в притвор Господа, и освящали дом Господа восемь дней, и кончили в шестнадцатый день первого месяца.

18 Then they went935 in6441 to413 Hezekiah2396 the king,4428 and said,559 We have cleansed2891 853 all3605 the house1004 of the LORD,3068 and the altar4196 of burnt offering,5930 with all3605 the vessels3627 thereof, and the shewbread4635 table,7979 with853 all3605 the vessels3627 thereof.

18 И пришли в дом к царю Езекии, и сказали: мы очистили весь дом Господа и жертвенник всесожжения и все сосуды его, и стол для хлебов предложения и все сосуды его.

19 Moreover all3605 the vessels,3627 which834 king4428 Ahaz271 in his reign4438 did cast away2186 in his transgression,4604 have we prepared3559 and sanctified,6942 and, behold,2009 they are before6440 the altar4196 of the LORD.3068

19 И все сосуды, которые по беззаконию своему забросил царь Ахаз во время своего царствования, мы приготовили и освятили, и вот они пред жертвенником Господа.

20 Then Hezekiah3169 the king4428 rose early,7925 and gathered622 853 the rulers8269 of the city,5892 and went up5927 to the house1004 of the LORD.3068

20 И встал царь Езекия рано утром, и собрал начальников города, и пошел в дом Господа.

22 И закололи тельцов, и взяли священники кровь, и окропили жертвенник, и закололи овнов, и окропили кровью жертвенник, и закололи агнцев, и окропили кровью жертвенник.

24 And the priests3548 killed7819 them, and they made reconciliation2398 with854 their blood1818 upon the altar,4196 to make an atonement3722 for5921 all3605 Israel:3478 for3588 the king4428 commanded559 that the burnt offering5930 and the sin offering2403 should be made for all3605 Israel.3478

24 И закололи их священники, и очистили кровью их жертвенник для заглаждения грехов всего Израиля; потому что царь приказал принести всесожжение и жертву за грех всех Израильтян.

25 And he set5975 853 the Levites3881 in the house1004 of the LORD3068 with cymbals,4700 with psalteries,5035 and with harps,3658 according to the commandment4687 of David,1732 and of Gad1410 the king's4428 seer,2374 and Nathan5416 the prophet:5030 for3588 so was the commandment4687 of the LORD3068 by3027 his prophets.5030

25 И поставил он в доме Господа левитов с кимвалами, псалтирями и гуслями, по установлению Давида, и Гада, прозорливца царского, и Нафана пророка; поелику установление сие сделано Господом чрез пророков Его.

26 And the Levites3881 stood5975 with the instruments3627 of David,1732 and the priests3548 with the trumpets.2689

26 И стали левиты с орудиями Давидовыми, и священники с трубами.

27 And Hezekiah2396 commanded559 to offer5927 the burnt offering5930 upon the altar.4196 And when6256 the burnt offering5930 began,2490 the song7892 of the LORD3068 began2490 also with the trumpets,2689 and with5921 the instruments3027 3627 ordained by David1732 king4428 of Israel.3478

27 И приказал Езекия возложить всесожжение на жертвенник. И в то самое время, как началось всесожжение, началось пение Господу при звуке труб и орудий Давида, царя Израильского.

28 And all3605 the congregation6951 worshiped,7812 and the singers7892 sang,7891 and the trumpeters2689 sounded:2690 and all3605 this continued until5704 the burnt offering5930 was finished.3615

28 И все собрание поклонилось, и гремело пение, и трубили трубы все до самого окончания всесожжения.

29 And when they had made an end3615 of offering,5927 the king4428 and all3605 that were present4672 with854 him bowed3766 themselves, and worshiped.7812

29 По окончании всесожжения, царь и все, находившиеся при нем, пали на колена и поклонились.

30 Moreover Hezekiah3169 the king4428 and the princes8269 commanded559 the Levites3881 to sing praise1984 unto the LORD3068 with the words1697 of David,1732 and of Asaph623 the seer.2374 And they sang praises1984 with5704 gladness,8057 and they bowed their heads6915 and worshiped.7812

30 И сказал царь Езекия и князья левитам, чтоб они славили Господа словами Давида и Асафа прозорливца; и они славили с радостью, и падали и поклонялись.

31 Then Hezekiah3169 answered6030 and said,559 Now6258 ye have consecrated4390 3027 yourselves unto the LORD,3068 come near5066 and bring935 sacrifices2077 and thank offerings8426 into the house1004 of the LORD.3068 And the congregation6951 brought in935 sacrifices2077 and thank offerings;8426 and as many as3605 were of a free5081 heart3820 burnt offerings.5930

31 И продолжал Езекия, и сказал: теперь вы имеете в руках своих пожертвования Господу, подходите и ведите жертвы и благодарственные приношения в дом Господа; и повели все собравшиеся жертвы и благодарственные приношения и всяк, кто расположен был сердцем, всесожжения.

32 And the number4557 of the burnt offerings,5930 which834 the congregation6951 brought,935 was1961 threescore and ten7657 bullocks,1241 a hundred3967 rams,352 and two hundred3967 lambs:3532 all3605 these428 were for a burnt offering5930 to the LORD.3068

32 Число всесожжений, которые привели собравшиеся, было семьдесят волов, сто овнов, двести агнцев: все сие во всесожжение Господу.

33 And the consecrated things6944 were six8337 hundred3967 oxen1241 and three7969 thousand505 sheep.6629

33 Других священных жертв было: шесть сот крупного скота и три тысячи из мелкого скота.

34 But7535 the priests3548 were1961 too few,4592 so that they could3201 not3808 flay6584 853 all3605 the burnt offerings:5930 wherefore their brethren251 the Levites3881 did help2388 them, till5704 the work4399 was ended,3615 and until5704 the other priests3548 had sanctified themselves:6942 for3588 the Levites3881 were more upright3477 in heart3824 to sanctify themselves6942 than the priests.4480 3548

34 Поелику же священников было мало, и они не могли сдирать кож со всех всесожжений, то помогали им братья их, левиты, до окончания дела и доколе освящались прочие священники; ибо левиты были более тщательны в освящении себя, нежели священники.

35 And also1571 the burnt offerings5930 were in abundance,7230 with the fat2459 of the peace offerings,8002 and the drink offerings5262 for every burnt offering.5930 So the service5656 of the house1004 of the LORD3068 was set in order.3559

35 Притом всесожжений было множество с туками благодарственных жертв и с возлияниями при всесожжении. Так установлено служение в доме Господа.

36 And Hezekiah3169 rejoiced,8055 and all3605 the people,5971 that5921 God430 had prepared3559 the people:5971 for3588 the thing1697 was1961 done suddenly.6597

36 И радовался Езекия и весь народ, что Бог так настроил людей; потому что вдруг сделалось дело.
